This soundscape was created to express the difference in sounds between areas of high energy and intensity versus serene and peaceful. The starting scene gives a natural impression as if outside near the water. After a moment, you hear your friend playing the ukelele, its pleasant background noise to the book you are reading. Within this peaceful atmosphere, a rumble begins of a motorbike coming towards the creak. Your ride has arrived! You hop on back with a friend that has invited you to an apartment party. Arriving you’re quite nervous for the party and merely walking up the stairs feels to last forever. Once getting closer the music and commotion of a crowd comes into earshot. After entering the party you look around and try to fit in even though it seems as if everyone is talking around you, your attention focuses on someone taking a bong rip next to you. Deciding to see what else is at the party you walk through and realize this is not your scene. So leaving the party alone you walk back home, your home is clean and welcoming when you enter. The only thing missing is some ambiance, so you go over to your computer and turn on soothing piano music. Dancing your way around the kitchen you prepare yourself a healthy, warm, meal. You enjoy it while reading the book you had been reading at the beginning. Despite making your way through and experiencing the party life and commotion, the piece begins and ends with serenity to remind you what your body and mind truly needs.
